Welcome to Vessel’s of Honor Children’s Ministry!


And Christ took a little child and put him in the midst of them; taking him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not only Me but Him who sent Me." ~ Mark 9:36-37


Our Children are the leaders of tomorrow.  That’s why our children’s ministry is dedicated in teaching our children to build a strong foundation in Jesus Christ.   Our nursery, the Little Lambs is the beginning of our children’s knowledge of Jesus.  They will be taught by loving teachers and enjoy songs, games, play and watch inspirational children’s videos.  Our Faith Roots and Future Generation class is where your child will learn age appropriate bible lessons that will teach them the fundamentals of the bible and show them how to walk like Christ did.  They will enjoy praise and worship, games, skits and play.

LITTLE LAMBS


Little Lambs is our nursery where we minister to infants from birth to 3 years of age.  Here in the nursery, you will find a safe and secure environment where your little lamb will be ministered to by individuals dedicated to meeting their needs.  We utilize a quiet pager that alerts you if your child is in need of your attention.  This helps you to know that all is well with your little one, while you are being ministered to in the adult service.  We believe this is the beginnings of your child’s first experience of knowing Jesus, which will set the stage for a lifelong desire to follow Christ.

FAITH ROOTS


Faith Roots class ministers to children that are 4 years old through their kindergarten years.  This class is focused on getting these children “ROOTED” in the truth of God’s word.  They are learning verses, songs and bible stories while having fun and making new friends. 


We have trained and dedicated teachers that teach age appropriate curriculum to ensure that your child is getting feed the word at their level of understanding. 


We are looking forward to meeting the needs of your child and teaching them the love of Jesus.

FUTURE GENERATIONS


Our children will also serve Him.  Future Generation (1st - 5th grade) will hear about the wonders of our Lord.  Psalm 22:30 states: “Prosterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.”  We believe in coming alongside the parents of our congregation to help raise up mighty men and women of God.  To train and equip them with the word of God and to be the Generations that will see the wonders of the Lord.  It is the goal of our children’s ministry team to lead our children to have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.  Through interactive lessons, skits and fun games our children will learn and hear the Word of God in a way that is appealing to children of all ages.
