CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

Our Children are the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why our children’s ministry is dedicated in teaching our children to build a strong foundation in Jesus Christ.  

Our nursery, the Little Lambs is the beginning of our children’s knowledge of Jesus.  They will be taught by loving teachers and enjoy songs, games, play and watch inspirational children’s videos. 

Our Faith Roots and Future Generation class is where your child will learn age appropriate bible lessons that will teach them the fundamentals of the bible and show them how to walk like Christ did.  They will enjoy praise and worship, games, skits and play.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Times are changing rapidly and our Junior High and High School students are the ones experiencing these changes.  Our Junior High class, The Identity Zone is where your student can learn how to identify him/herself with Jesus.  This is a difficult time in their lives because they are beginning to experience peer pressure, bullying and developing their own identity.  In this class your student will learn age appropriate lessons that will teach them how to deal with these changes.  With bible lessons, they will also learn how God used young men and women their age to do great things for the kingdom of God.  Our goal is to teach our students how to apply the bible lessons they are learning to their day to day life.

Our High School class, The Quest is where your teenager will learn appropriate age in depth bible lessons that will deepen their knowledge.  In this class your teenager will learn that they have the power to impact other people through Jesus Christ.  They will learn more about the bible and how to speak boldly to others about the Word of God.  This stage of their life is crucial and our goal is to keep them strong in the faith and give them the confidence they need to fight against the pressures of life.  We will teach them life lessons and prepare them for the real world or life after high school.  We also prepare them for the transition from high school service to adult service by plugging them into different ministries that interest them. 

Our goal is to groom strong men and women of God who are our future  leaders.

Men of Destiny (MOD):  Exactly what the name implies...teaching and learning to be a man with a Godly destiny.

Women of Worth (WOW):  Learning the building blocks for life, marriage, parenting, etc. through the Word of God.

Music Ministry:  The heart of this ministry is to usher in the presence of God so that the hearts of people are prepared to hear the voice of the Lord and what He has for them.

Sound/Media Ministry:  To make our visitors feel welcome so that they will return and become part of the family of VOH.

Usher/Greeter Ministry:  To make our visitors feel welcome so that they will return and become part of the family of VOH.

Cleansing Streams:  Teaching and training maturing believers in personal cleansing, deliverance, and spiritual warfare so they can be released to serve, minister, and discipleothers in the Body of Christ.

Youth Ministry:  Offers sound biblical teachings for everyday life.  Biblical guidance to help our teenagers through the adolescent pressures of life. 
 
Intercessory prayer:  A ministry with eternal reward; prayer for the church, our pastors and all of Gods people.

Hospitality:  A ministry of a true servant's heart.  This ministry is a labor of love providing communion, food for funerals, weddings and other church functions.

Visitor's Ministry:  Welcoming our guests with love and praying they chose to become part of the Vessels of Honor family.
